225 Views :: 0 Comments :: :: Team - Eagles, Brian Seltzer -Due to damp conditions in South Philadelphia, the Eagles practiced under the bubble at the Nova Care Complex. -At today's workout, QB Donovan McNabb again wore a protective visor on his helmet, as he did all of last week, but not in Sunday's game at Seattle. McNabb relies on the device to protect the left eye he scratched against the Falcons. -RB Brian Westbrook worked out on a limited basis for the second day in a row. His reduced activity stems from a knee injury. RB Correll Buckhalter and Lorenzo Booker filled in. Even though his activity is minimal, Westbrook's chances of playing Sunday night vs. New York appear pretty good. -FS Brian Dawkins observed practice from the sidelines, dressed in his jersey and shorts. The Pro Bowler did not appear on yesterday's injury report. Perhaps the Birds are just giving him some rest... -Also thinning out the squad's secondary was the absence of CB Lito Sheppard, who continues to deal with his groin strain. With both he and Dawkins MIA, CB/S Quintin Demps' workload increased. During training camp, the Texas-El Paso product shifted between both the CB and FS positions. -No update on the back examination that RG Shawn Andrews underwent yesterday out in California. Those tests were to determine whether he was fit to fly back to Philadelphia. |
